A Kaleidoscope of Flooring

Dear Diary,
How many different types of flooring can be installed in a single house?

I feel this should remain a rhetorical question, and not something to be challenged.

Our house has quite the variety - approximately 14 different styles, as documented below for prosperity!

(This kaleidoscope of color is the carpeting in the guest room.)

(This carpet is in the hall, library and staircase.)

(That bright aqua carpet is in the master bedroom and walk-in.)

(Tile in the master bath.)

(Guest Bath)

(Kitchen)

(Fireplace hearth in library)

(Sunken living room)

(Kitchen and carpet in sunken living room)

(The staircase carpeting is different than the carpet in the den.)

(The laundry room features a duct tape transition between random carpet and cement floors.)

I have the idea to stencil the floor in the laundry room, as inspired by this breakfast nook.

(Carpet in the den and the deep blue carpet in Maddie's room.)

(Cracked tile in the kids' bathroom)

(The kids' bedrooms have the same carpet.)

(Cement floor in the very unfinished utility room.)

(Tile in front of the french doors that open to a gravel patio off the den.)
