Summer Evenings, Outside

There is something about a setting sun on a hot summer day that beckons you outside.

Perhaps it's the watercolor sky.

Perhaps it's the relief from the Minnesota humidity that's carried in the cool breeze.

Perhaps it's the impromptu shooting practice that happens.

(He loves it when I capture the ripple of the net as his shot scores.)

On our property, the Kelly Green leaves of summer offset brilliantly-colored leaves. Parts of our tree line are so thick I imagine fall comes early in some areas.

"Mom, take one more picture."

I love city skylines. But then I come home, and this fits too.
